概要

コースデザインの理論の習得ならびに２回のマイクロティーチング（模擬授業）を通して、教え方を実践的に学びます。参加者は自身の担当科目について１人５分のマイクロティーチングを行い、講師やCo-instructor（これまでのワークショップ修了生）、および他の参加者からコメントやフィードバックをもらいます。２回目のマイクロティーチングまでに、参加者は改善点等を検討しそれを踏まえて準備を行います。

In this workshop, participants will learn about teaching and learning through a learner-centered approach by studying and practicing the theory of course design and through two micro-teaching sessions (mock classes).

In the microteaching sessions, each participant will give a 5-minute presentation on their course subject as if in front of the students of his/her class at OU and receive comments and feedback from the instructor, co-instructors (former workshop participants), and other participants.

On a different day, participants will then prepare and deliver a second microteaching session by considering such feedback.

目的/Aim

学生の立場から教育を捉え、理論と実践を通してコースデザインの方法を身につける
To learn the theory and practice of learner-centered approach in English.
英語による授業を実施するための方法を身につける
To improve teaching skills for academic staff who teach courses in English.

対象者/Participation Criteria

1. 学習者中心のアプローチによる教育方法の改善、及びより良い教育の提供に関心を持つ教員
2. 将来的に本学（各部局）において「教育の国際化」やＦＤに積極的に関わることが期待されており各部局から推薦された教員

※上記両方、もしくはいずれかに該当する方

Participants willing to improve their teaching and to further develop their skills from a learner-centered approach.
Participants expected to take on active roles in the globalization of education or FD activities at their faculty and recommended by their faculty.

There was diversity in the academic disciplines of facilitators, instructors, and participants.  I had abundant opportunity to discuss various issues with professors and doctors from different discipline in the workshop. Amongst others, I was given a chance for micro teaching in which I got a lot of valuable feedback.
