The University faculty’s work includes teaching and social outreach, in addition to research. Those practices are expected to be helpful for stakeholders  and require evidence through appropriate evaluation.

In this seminar participants will learn to collect, share and analyze the data to study their teaching. Offered by Dr. Ido Roll, an expert of Faculty Development and SoTL(Scholarship of Teaching and Learning)

Dr. Ido ROLL heads UBC's research efforts into teaching and learning by using innovative technologies, for example, by studying the MOOC ecosystem. He also manages evaluation projects of teaching and learning at UBC and works closely with faculty members to help them improve and evaluate their teaching.  He is an expert of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), where he supports instructors in researching their own teaching.
